Parrot Tree Plantation is a community that prides itself with hosting a number of spectacular events. Parrot Tree is known worldwide for its fabulous festivities, it is home to the annual International Shrimp Festival, a charitable event for education of the island youth. Parrot Tree Educational Foundation hosts other charitable events such as our Valentine’s Day Black Tie Ball, Casino Night, and Christmas Extravaganza. We also host community events such as our family Sunday, where all can get together and enjoy a day on the beach and partake in a number of prize winning games such as sack races, three legged race, kayak race, volleyball tournament, soccer tournament and much more. Our full moon bond fires are a must see, we have local cuisine, live music and local entertainment such as the Garifuna dancers or the mesmerizing fire show. Our Palapa Bar and Grill hosts theme nights starting on Tuesday with Caribbean night, Ladies night, 60’s night, Mexican night and Country Sunday.
